I UNDERSTAND YOUR PAIN

As you can see, obesity has been a part of my life, and these are only three pictures. I have many more. I know how obesity feels. Your physical weight is only part of it—the emotional burden, the judgment, the shame, the exhaustion… it is all very painful.

I hated to be in front of the mirror, and when I did, I felt defeated. I tried to avoid photos, avoid asking for a seatbelt extender, and even avoided doctor visits—because I was embarrassed about my weight. I know that pain very well. I have lived with it for many years.

If you're in that place right now, please hear me: you are not alone. Your pain is real. Your feelings are valid but no matter where you are right now, there is hope – please do not give up! I will walk this path to change with you – I am here to help you.

WHAT IS

THE 432 PLAYBOOK?

When you are trying to overcome obesity, you hear all the time from friends, family, and your doctor that you have to have to lose weight or you may have some health issues. They tell you that You Must Change Your Lifestyle.

Yes, everyone has an opinion about what you should do. You hear mounds of advice on what to eat and how and when to exercise. During my obesity battles, this type of advice rarely helped me because I still had a lot of questions and even more concerns.

Hearing, “You need to eat better and exercise more,” does not provide guidance, especially when you are keenly aware of that fact.

However, actually knowing how to do that—Where to Start? What Steps to Take?, What to Prioritize? And How To?IS MUCH MUCH HARDER!

Also how do you not let factors such as stress, low confidence, lack of time, and mental overwhelm completely sabotage your best intentions. We all know the feeling of starting strong and then falling off track; these factors are often the hidden reasons why.

Without a clear, structured approach, it’s completely normal to feel overwhelmed, discouraged, or even intimidated.

Because of all this, my anxiety skyrocketed every time I just thought about overcoming obesity because I just knew I was going to fail again.

How did I actually change my lifestyle behavior?

How did I not let my life's obstacles and curveballs stop me?

You may think the starting point of your behavior change journey is a strong motivation to start a new diet, start exercising, and have a good plan to create new good habits and stop bad ones. There is no doubt that these actions are essential for lifestyle behavior change, however, they are not the starting point of your journey.

 Because the main reason for changing your lifestyle behavior is to...

Step 1 in your lifestyle behavior change journey begins with acknowledging that you have a problem to solve, and Step 2 is knowing exactly what the problem is. Part 1 of The 432 Playbook program is a step-by-step approach to formulating a lifestyle behavior change plan customized to your personal life, starting with these first two steps.

Each additional step builds upon these first two, and after you complete each step in Part 1, you will have created your Personal Playbook for Lifestyle Change. This is more than just a guide - it is your roadmap and compass toward a healthier, stronger and more empowered you!

Create Your Action Plan

You Will Take All The Groundwork You Laid in Part 1 and Craft Your Specific Action Plan 

In Part 2, you'll take all the groundwork you've laid — Your Why, The Person You Want To Become, Reflections, Insights, and Vision — and begin crafting your specific, actionable plans. These are the plans that will include your micro goals, your desired new habits, and the practical steps that bring your lifestyle transformation to life.

The 432 Playbook is based on creating micro goals. It your pursuit of changing your lifestyle behavior, it is very easy to get overwhelmed by the size and the time it will take to achieve your ultimate goal. But the secret not to get paralyzed by the enormity is to think small.

Enter the power of micro goals. Micro goals are small manageable and achievable steps that help you get to The Person You Want To Become.

They are so powerful because...

  • You build confidence and stay motivated to keep moving forward.
  • You see progress and evidence that your plan is working! 
  • You want to achieve more and more Baby Steps of Progress because it feels good and they keep you focused!

When you are battling obesity and are developing a plan, it can be challenging to know where to direct your microgoals, to become overwhelmed by the enormity of the journey and let self-doubt or negative self-talk derail your efforts - this is where 4, 3, 2 comes in.

The 4 in the 432 Playbook gives you a framework for success by helping you create your micro goals in the 4 KEY CATEGORIES of:

  2. Build and Strengthen Your Mental Resolve

  4. Personal Organization - Bring Order To Your Life

Be Patient and Give Yourself Time.

The 3 in The 432 Playbook is for 3 MONTHS. This timeframe gives you time and patience to work through your plan. It is natural to want fast results, but true lasting change takes time and giving yourself the space grow, adapt and develop new habits is one of the most valuable things you can do.

Narrow Your Focus.

The 2 in The 432 Playbook is for 2 WEEKS. Trying to tackle too many objectives at once often leads to burnout, stress, and overwhelm. It is important to channel your efforts into small, manageable objectives. You will focus on a maximum of one or two of your micro goals in one or more of the key categories for 2 WEEKS at a time. 

The great thing about The 432 Playbook is that you have created your customized lifestyle behavior change plan and after 3 MONTHS if you are still not done, you just roll right into you next 432 Playbook!
